Toronto ON M6K 2B2

× Instructor: Jason Burton
April 23 to June 18 (No class May 18)
Thursdays 1-2PM
Mondays 1-2PM

In this course, we’ll explore the ancient craft of cord making, focusing on decorative applications of nautical knot-tying and braiding. We’ll make a bracelet and key fob together, then you can experiment with techniques and projects that interest you. Bring your patience and sense of humour; an interest in patterns and detailed work are great too! We’ll be relying on finger strength and dexterity. We’ll also use candle flame to finish the ends of our knotting strands.

Knots and Braids features two weekly sessions: an hour group session on Thursdays, and an optional clinic on Mondays.

** Due to the specialized nature of this course, only 10 spaces are available. Supplies will be mailed to participants. Please ensure your current address is up to date on your account. **
