September 18 to October 23
Fridays 4-6PM

Artists are entrepreneurs by virtue of what they do, but they aren't always empowered to see themselves that way. The lack of stable jobs and the growth of the gig economy and e-commerce have left many trained artists at a disadvantage. Creative Entrepreneurship 101 empowers artists to treat their art practice as a business by providing them with fundamental business skills.

This is a beginner’s course, meaning no prior business skills are required and the course is open to artists of all disciplines at all stages. That being said, the ideal student would be an emerging artist with a product or service. The course encourages artists to deeply think about their vision, mission and goals as an artist and entrepreneur. Some course presentations, worksheets and resources will be shared through Google Drive, so familiarity with the platform would be great but not necessary.
