Information

× In this class members will join Workman Arts member and instructor Paula John to learn about textile art practices, and create their own pieces. The world of contemporary textile art is an exciting place of artists pushing the boundaries of the fibre medium. In an effort to blend theory and practice, weekly meetings will provide hands-on practical experience alongside presentations of established textile artists’ work for inspiration. The Fall 2019 session will focus on hand-sewing techniques and soft sculptures. Participants will be provided with their own basic sewing supplies to keep.
