Glitch Art is the aesthetic of digital decay. In this workshop we will explore some basic hex-editing and databending techniques using freely available software: Notepad++, Paint.NET & Audacity. Strong computer skills are recommended.
Materials: Device with internet connection. If you have any access or material needs, please let Cynella know.
About the instructor: Terence is an artist whose work blends traditional photographic and digital media modalities. Their work emphasizes our relationship to nature, the urban environment and society at large as it intersects with ideas about disability and mental illness. Terence studied at Ryerson in the image arts program and has been a long-time member of Gallery 44 centre for contemporary photography.
