A focus on connecting emotions to movement for those wishing to gain a stronger relationship between their thoughts, feelings and where they live in the body. This three-week workshop invites participants to explore imagery, movement improvisation and action efforts to develop a physical expression of the feelings, tensions and sensations that live within.

About the instructor: Hi, I’m Breanna (she/her). I am an actor, theatre artist and writer based in Toronto. I am passionate about art that invites empathy, community and growth into spaces, and I am committed to creating space for these pillars in my work. My current practice is focused on exploring human emotions and the healing process through the use of somatic movement, writing and physical improvisation.” Breanna is a co-founder and collaborator of Skipping Stones Theatre, an independent collective whose mandate is to explore stories through the lens of mental health and neurodiversity. Breanna has trained internationally with artists of the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT) in Russia, as well as The Globe theatre (UK). Breanna is a graduate of East 15 Acting School (MFA) and the University of Windsor (BFA). Breanna loves curling up with a good book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and getting out for long walks in nature.
