Join award-winning author Kelly Rose Pflug-Back for a two hour interactive workshop on how to start, or continue, submitting your creative writing to editors. Whether it's fiction, poetry, memoir, or creative nonfiction, we will cover the groundwork you need to pursue your goals:

-Researching Markets/Finding Your Niche -Writing Cover Letters -Editing and Preparing Your Submissions -Dealing With Rejection -Networking and Community Building -Time Management and Motivation

Materials: A notebook or computer where you can take notes is recommended.

About the instructor: Kelly is a writer, textile artist, and educator. Their fiction, poetry, and journalism have appeared in places like the Toronto Star, Ideomancer Speculative Fiction, Briarpatch, Goblin Fruit, Strange Horizons, and many others. Their first full-length book of poems, The Hammer of Witches, was published with Caitlin Press/Dagger Editions in 2020. Originally from rural Ontario, they currently reside on Dish With One Spoon territory.
